Getting started is not as hard as you may think:

• Firstly, you need "sample shots", unless you have your own "comp card".  In order to get recognized, the agencies need to see if you are PHOTOGENIC; sample shots and comp cards are the most commonly used methods to do so.  Sample shots are recently up-to-date well photographed shots done by most any camera source (you can even use polaroid, but keep in mind it must be photo scanned into digital).  Comp cards are well designed 5x7 cards, depicting 4 to 5 of your best photos.  Typically, they are produced in bulk, and used in circulation for the more prepared to even seasoned model.  *Comp cards are not to be confused with a model portfolio.
• Sample shots - 3 to 4 photos are all you need.  These photos should include 4 items   (NOTE: Never ever send nude or close to nude photos):
  • Head shot (smile or not, use your best judgement)
  • Face to waist shot
  • Full length body shot
  • Energy shot (show yourself doing something fun and simple)
• The photos need to be digitalized for e-mail purposes
• Send your photos to us via e-mail, at ifoundyou@youvebeendiscovered.com, as an attachment.  Also, you must include:
  • Full name, and just city and state for address
  • Age at time of photo and Date of Birth (you must be at least 18 to submit)
  • Height and Weight (save yourself the embarrassment, and tell the truth)
  • Two contact phone numbers and an e-mail address
  • We will contact you once we receive your e-mail, if you do not get a response within 72 hours, please re-submit
• Finally and again, we do not collect fees from you.   If one of our agencies "gigs" you, they pay us an agreed commission and/or finder's fee.  It's that simple...
